Our Story

From Humble Beginnings

Our journey began in 1980 at Luna Printing in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. Working under the guidance of Mr. Julio and Mrs. Elizabeth Luna, I was given the opportunity to enter the beautiful world of graphic arts. Like many who master a craft, I started from the bottom—sweeping floors and cleaning machines, fueled by a relentless desire to succeed.

Mastering the Craft

Over time, Mr. Luna recognized my passion and drive to grow. I began learning the intricacies of typesetting with manual movable type, eventually becoming an assistant to the linotype operator. As I gained experience, I graduated to operating a small Challenge 8 x 10" manual press, laying the foundation for a lifelong career in printing.

A New Chapter in California

In 1996, I made the decision to migrate to Anaheim, California, to pursue new challenges in the industry. I joined Litographics Co., where I worked for twelve years under the leadership of Mr. Randi Carr and Mrs. Sally Carr. This experience was instrumental in shaping my professional standards and expertise.

Building Marin Printing & Corrugated

In 2008, fueled by years of dedication to my craft and my clients, I achieved a personal milestone: opening my own business. What started as a vision has grown into what is now Marin Printing & Corrugated.
